Efi Hatzimanolis #83 'Child's Play'

Imagine if the weather
could read your mind,
and if you raced downhill -
our street was steep -
on a windy day
when a gale force southerly
was blowing your way
then a gust might catch you just
at the moment both feet
were in the air, and lift you there,
to fly in an open sky,
silly as the wind

  1. It is precious recapturing such an experience, and to share it. Thank you!

  2. I enjoyed this playful, buoyant poem. The opening two lines are a great way to start and the closing two lines are a great way to finish the poem.
