yes, I agree with Lizz. Beautiful and strikingly composed. The apple's shadow is like a conjoined sun dial and force field, a beam of force and energy that is diminished in the apple core next to it. A fantastic contrast in the painting that says it all, really. Pulls everything together. More! :)
