Kit Kelen #134 - my meditation is a walk

134
my meditation is a walk

my meditation is a walk
and learning not to see
all acres to do

but sunup through
whatever trees today are
let me a pond stillness

chorus of magpie
and the unseen thud
I run a ring

around myself
gather a blue above
for warm

see sun come to it
a natural
my flight's feet

upon the ground
my meditation is a walk
and yearning not to see

acres to do
soil is making everywhere
let's say it's a beckoning

and all obey the call
tree fallen wilderness
eucalypt risings

everything here
is crooked to reach
not a one here

has heard of true
but gives its all
to be

my meditation is a round
and ends begins
in here I am

it's time we have
and you can count
we everywhere require

a haircut
I'd rather wear time
like a coat

to season
with this country

  1. 'learning not to see

I need to learn that :)

Great poem, Kit. And enjoying the images.
