Kerri Shying R # 212 - Concentration

it was obviously him pretending to be her
the round green light             staring far too long

can’t reply to email            but can stalk me with another's
eye        not any longer do I think what’s up with that

one finger headed to the block function             and I’m told
at these moments things click

into place              for me there was no discernable sound
the emotion running smooth in a track worn across

years               word matching            bitter stinging frightful
all a kids card game            close your eyes turn the card

turn the card again            and match

  1. Concentration might help the player, but it won't affect the cards!

Love this poem, Kerri. Thank you.
