Stuart Rawlinson #41 - Satellite Towns

Every city is great
Every home is truth
From cul-de-sac to continent
Pride clings to its own

You won't break us, but
We might just break ourselves

Opinions in constant flux
In Tarleton tonight
The spectators are lacking
A brand to pin
To their chests

We stand together

In provincial towns
No meme for the memory
No football chants

Co-opting sympathy
Parasitic empathy
In satellite towns

We claim for ourselves
