Rob Schackne #427 - Poems For Airports (5)

Poems For Airports (5)

Do the whiskers
feel anything does
the brain even get it

just kick it over
the space is his
to knock you down

he couldn't care
it was as little
as a kid or a cat

all he claimed
was his uncaring
how he wanted that

the suitcase floats
to the surface
after his last breath

how the sea
brings back the dead
when we don't want them

  1. Great stuff Rob - love your airport scenes with the sea dredging up the dead we don't want - spot on!
